Rafago arrived in January 2017. He was ridden here as he doesnt like to load at all. His body shape and mental attitude was in need of some changes.
Rafago is an ongoing story, but in August 2017, he looked like this and his attitude is unrecogniseable. No more angry horse, pulling away and needing a controller headcollar.
Rafago has been a super school horse for my students to work with as he is now becoming educated in the training work used by Academic Art of Riding by Bent Branderup.
Rafago now walks into a lorry and remains there without being tied up. This was all achieved using Positive Reinforcement Training with slack ropes and absolutely no force.
